Island Boyz 2.0 LLC: Building Foundations, Crafting Legacies Founded in 2005 by Don and Mary Sasa, Island Boyz 2.0 LLC is a masonry company built on a passion for craftsmanship, quality, and community. With over 25 years of experience in the trade, we have had the privilege of shaping the landscapes of Charlotte, NC, and the surrounding counties of South Carolina. Don Sasa’s path as a mason began in 2000 under the mentorship of Norman Goode of Goode Masonry Company. It was there that he honed his skills and developed a deep appreciation for the artistry of brick, stone, and concrete work. With a team of talented craftsmen, including master masons Lau Lusia, Bobby (Rev) McCorkle, and Durell McCain, as well as our longtime laborer-turned-COO, Julius T. Sasa, we built Island Boyz 2.0 LLC from the ground up—literally and figuratively. From new construction and additions to custom backyard designs, our team has left its mark on countless homes and businesses. We specialize in foundations, stonework, pavers, concrete, and light grading, bringing our clients’ visions to life with precision and dedication. Beyond our professional projects, we have been blessed to give back through our work with our Island Boyz Trade School coming soon with partnership with Christ’s Community Ministry’s (Good Choice Program) We also work alongside Habitat for Humanity in the Charlotte region where we provide on the job training. Over the years, we have contributed to building homes and strengthening neighborhoods, using our expertise to serve families in need.
